We installed all new slab doors in this home and painted the door casings and door frame to match.
New slab doors are very affordable and we can generally install 5-6 in a day. The doors themselves generally cost under $100 and can be installed fairly cheap.
We always recommend installing slab doors instead of prehung doors. If your door frames are in great condition, we can take a slab door and route the hinges and bore the hole for the door knob. Once everything is painted you will never know theh difference. This will save you money on both the door and labor!
We recommend replacing with a prehung door only if the door frame is busted or not in good condition.
